Any streams? Would be nice to see Torres get a run out after 70 minutes or so.

Slightly surprised at that myself.  But it does make sense - the fixture list is hardly congested at the moment - no midweek games this week or next week.  We are also in good form at the moment so maybe Rafa wants us to keep the momentum going so that it benefits us in the next league game.  Will backfire horribly if we get a few injuries, but I see what he's trying to do.

Delighted that Insua plays again, he deserves to keep his place.  Also never thought I'd say this, but feel a bit sorry for Lucas - he deserved to keep his place too.

Kinell, the one match you expect Rafa to style in and he puts out a strong team...stubborn! :D  I wonder what Mick will make of this lineup, having expressed some concern that the Newcastle win will encourage Rafa to re-embrace styling?  Perhaps too early to tell yet but Milou's point that a fairly low-key fixture list for January will encourage settled team selections seems on the money.

I'm sure both Skrtel and Torres will get a run out at some point as well...let's hope they come through unscathed.

Was supposed to have been slightly under the weather when he missed the Arsenal match but haven't heard anything about lack of fitness since.  I think (or maybe just hope) that Rafa's playing to ship him out in the next couple of weeks and has decided not to risk an injury by playing him.

I have heard many Rafa´s interviews in spanish and he always spoke about rotations that it depend on the days of resting between the games. If there are only 3 days between two games, then will be rotation, if there are 5 days for resting the players, then no rotation.

The last game was on 28th December, so (29, 30, 31, 1, 2) 5 days of rest.
The people shouldn´t rack the brains with the rafa´s rotations. It´s so simple.
