I don't wanna p1ss people off cos I know you guys don't like romours but my mate said he's heard that their is gonna be a press conference on Monday to announce a signing

Anyone else heard this?

Although i think its bulls**t myself, a mate said that in work today Ballack's name was being mentioned by the reds in the office(not David Brents)??

If Beni thinks that Biscan can do the job well I trust him, if he doesn't turn out good by January we can use the transfer window to get someone else. I've said it once and I'll say it again, Houllier messed many players confidence up and Biscan could be one of those players

Don't you guys think we have seen enough of Biscan to realised that this man just cannot play, beyond help and would be a liability to us whereever the position he played?

I don't think partnering Biscan will give StevenG a hard on going into the new season. Bring on the next guy .....

Im trying to convince myself that Rafa could turn him into a player but Im struggling to be honest. As much as I would love to see Ballack alongside Stevie G I would be very surprised as Ive not heard anything about him leaving except for Barca. Actually thinking about it if they cant afford to even bid for Baros I doubt they have the cash to get Ballack so we could in theory nip in and sign him. We desperatly need a centre back tho.

Sky Sports news and their website are claiming we have signed Josemi from Malaga (a defender) which may see Diouf go the other way
