although i agree that domestic consistency begets european consistency, for me, the cl is more important. doing well in the cl means we get lots of money and attract players from abroad with the bonus of being on telly in midweek. i didnt see 1 wafa cup game last season except against marseille when a pub in town showed both legs. had to listen to them all on radio5 with a sh1t reception
