Theres a topic on redcafe called 8 wins, and they were going to guess what 8 wins were needed to win the title:

"14 March Liverpool (home)
21 March Fulham (away)

05 April Aston Villa (home)
11 April Sunderland (away)
19 April Wigan (away)
22 April Portsmouth (home)

25 April Tottenham (home)

02 May Middlesbrough (away)
09 May Man City (home)
16 May Arsenal (home)
24 May Hull City (away)

These are what I reckon."

Threads like these are a jinx, imo, they said they would beat us and fulham and looked what happened!!

I'd love us to win the league by goal difference, that would be hilarious!

I will stick with my totally negative prediction of Liverpool 82 points and the mancs 88 points.

Then keep my fingers crossed that I am totally wrong.

to be fair saint the way the season has been going I don't think many would bet against the mancs, we haven't been played great all season and haven't really put together a run that made us look like champions. I do believe that it can be done however, all we have to do is repeat the run we went on three years ago and I reckon it will be ours

I'm just going to stick to my policy of betting on the mancs to win everytime cos they've let me down nearly everytime I put them on

Wacthing Skysports news last nigth - for both of Valencias Titles under Rafa they came from about 9 points behind one year and 12 points behind another year and both years went on 10 match unbeaten runs - one of them will do nicely right now and hope for a couple manure slip ups

jinx is about the size of it, as if anyone can do these things objectively and not subjectively with a massive tinge of BIAS. We all know what fans of Liverpool and the mancs WANT to happen, putting it into a "predictor" is pointless as it is what you think will happen not what you hope will happen.

Who would have predicted preseason that we'd draw at home to Fulham, West Ham, Stoke, Hull and Man City?

Who but the most optimistic would have predicted we'd win at Stamford Bridge AND old trafford preseason? And those that just predict we will win every time they are asked or make statements don't count, being right by default when it happens and wrong more often than not is not real predicting, it's law of averages you're bound to be right eventually. I guess those same people predicted we'd win the league 18 years in a row now...........................
