I don't believe the club's problems are a result of some overactive imagination. Just because a good player signed for us doesn't mean our debts have gone away all of a sudden. One should neither be sarcastic about it or belittle it because the problems are real. And those who are very close to the club like igor, ciggy, nanny can attest to it.

i'm going to wait to make any predictions until i see how we play against arsenal and man city first, to see how roy sets out the team for two very tricky games and to see how the players respond to the 'new start' and fresh ideas - and to see if heads drop if we don't get too much out of them. at the moment, like many, i have a wave of optimism on the back of news of gerrard staying, cole signing, the positive reports about jovanovich, the talent and desire of shelvey etc etc. if we get a fit and committed torres plus a focussed babel plus a decent left back plus some kind of ngog upgrade i really think we'll have the possibility to go close.

maybe in some ways this difficult start is a good thing. we know we have to hit the ground running to avoid being near the bottom of the table a couple of weeks into the season - and after last season it will look like a long way up to get back amongst the CL spots even with thirty odd games left.

Im merely pointing out that are definite positives and some people should not be so Fu*king negative before a balls kicked.
I know about the bad things which have happened/are happening. But Im not going to whinge like an arl tart, because it wont, ever make me feel better.
