We already struggle with Carroll's lack of mobility and enthusiasm (some would say laziness).

Imagine signing someone who is intentionally this way?

No thanks

We need someone like little pea, cheap, young, enthusiastic, some ball skills with a knack for scoring goals.

No more Lazy players, we have the quota filled already.

How many have we got?

Think Berbatov would make a good foil for Suarez. £15 million ? If it propels us into the CL (something Carrol won't do) imo it would be money well spent

If you spend 15 on a replacement you have to sell Carol in the same breath. You cant have a 35 million lemon swinging round your neck.

I would love to see us sign Tiote and D.Bent in the Jan window. Tiote would give us the steel we need in CM now that Lucas is out and Bent is a natural finisher (which all will agree we need). OK his all round game isn't top class but he is a goal scorer and proven in the EPL.

I think we will go back in for Matty Jarvis in January. I know we have quite a bit of wide options but Jarvis is a good player and would add depth to our squad!!

That's the position he's best at.  When he scored a billion goals, his position was behind their natural striker El Hamdaoui.

And please no Berbagay... c'mon.  I wouldn't touch him if he were free.

Mate, I've never seen him play at Ajax or the Al Hammer bloke you speak of paired up with. I just know these type a things - ya get me.  :;):

Just saw a post about Yoann Gourcuff, would love to have him in the midfield instead of Adam.

Would love Kagawa, he would be really top draw. Hoilett would be a good buy, we need a striker or someone tricky to change the game. Gaston Ramirez is another name being mentioned.

Listened to Gerry Armstrong on Talksport yesterday talk about Barca and in particular David Villa. Seems he is getting a little restless at Barca and does not like not being the main man (Messi has that mantle obvioulsy). Villa has also been quoted as saying he would like a crack at the EPL. I know he would cost a few bob but we can afford it these days and it would send out a real statement of intent from the owners. Perhaps a loan deal until end of season may suit all parties better?? Be a great signing. A lot will hinge on Reina I suppose....would he be able/willing to try and persuade him to Anfield?

The alternative would be Benzema perhaps?

Either/or would, in my opinion, work wonders alongside Suarez in attack!

Jelavic of Rangers scored another 2 at the weekend. He clearly knows where the back of the net is. Given Rangers precarious financial state I would think a £6m bid may well seal a deal.

2 goals against Hibs doesn't warrant EPL status. No way. The Scottish Prem is were you go when you can't get in one of the 'big' leagues.

Totally agree. Football focus even did a special on him on Saturday. Makes you laugh when everyone else can see it but our own fans can't. Reminds me of Lucas............

After Enrique and Suarez, Adam at the moment is definitely our best player, only blind people wouldn't see that.

I can't believe that there is still a minority who can't see what a great player Charlie has been for us this season!

Maybe I'm too old, but I remember when you gave a player a chance and appreciated the good work they did and the effort they where putting in
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On
