A bad twist is all it was altho if you watch how he lands you'll think how lucky.

Ah well, no 2nd but at least our team did all they could today.  Charlton should be ashamed of themselves.  Massive improvement on last season points-wise.

In a way I'm glad Arsenal got 4th.  They're always going to be a threat to us, especially now with the money they'll generate with the Emirates stadium.  For Spurs, the CL money could have helped them kick-on, and they could have attracted some even better players next year with CL money - they could have been a real challenge for the established top 4 teams.  It makes it easier for us if we only have 3 other genuine rivals for the top spots next season instead of 4.

That was a close shave for Alonso.

It looked like he had broken it, he was in a lot of pain but it was just a painful twist in the end, he's doubt for the final tho.

We have suffiecent back up for Alonso, so altho it's a blow it's not one to lose some sleep over and I'm just glad he didn't break his ankle. We could play Sissoko/Gerrard or Sissoko and Hamann.

Good win today :)

Glad to see Cisse get on the scoresheet finally, Alonso's ankle injury could be bad, he's going to get a scan on it so Liverpool will be hoping Alonso will be ok

crouchy, robbie and cisse on the score sheet for the last league game of the season, makes me wonder what could have been achieved with consistant performances from our strikers...ok enough moaning, great performance, definately moving in the right direction!
