Coming from me who has a history on this site of bad mouthing both Manchester United and Everton, I have got to say that it is scary to think how good a player Wayne Rooney is going to become.  He is clearly one of the best players in the game already at 19 years of age.  He is sensational.  And it pains me to say it, but the boy is a joy to watch.

As if he’d ever even consider playing for us though.  I was actually quite surprised when he got interviewed on Match Of The Day last week over Peter Kenyons comments.  He said Kenyon was irresponsible for saying that the Premiership challengers will come from a select group of one.  Rooney disagreed, saying that Manchester United, Arsenal…………….and Liverpool would all be challenging.  I really was surprised to hear him say it.

Still a prick though.

about three years ago we were strongly linked with samuel eto'o. just imagine if that had come off! he was at mallorca at the time but we weren't willing to pay the transfer fee that they wanted.

and as for zidane, i can't believe he brought that house and then didn't turn up for training.
