Ok obviously some people think that some of Rafas buys for our squad have been poor - or in some peoples words . So who should rafa of bought instead of these players and realisticly that we could of got for the same price we paid for these players .

Babel 2007 10 mil
Kuyt 2006 10 mil
Lucas 2007 6 mil
Yossi 2007 3mil ?
Dossena 2008 7-8 mil
Ngog 2008 1.5 mil
Pennant 2006 6 mil

Plus anyone else i have missed .

Diego instead of Babel
Berbatov instead of Kuyt
Mancini instead of Lucas AND Benny
Stuck with Riise instead of Dossena (I always liked Riise)
N'gog and Pennant - I wouldn't have bought and saved the money to put towards buying someone decent.

My spends around £20million - Rafa's around £47million.

With Diego playing in the creative seconnd striker position, I would play Gerrard on the right mate.

Btw Mancini can play left centre or right.

We were interested in him , maybe he got an offer he couldn't refuse? Maybe we should have made him an offer he couldn't refuse? I don't think it was anything to do with wanting to stay in Italy...... just about money...... it usually is.

If Im honest my world player info is not very good, I dont know about many players in other leagues, so all I can say is I wish he had bought less players of a highe standard..

Kuyt - Anelka

Yossi - Simao ( linked with him for ages!)

Lucas - kept Sissoko (at least he tackles and stops threats)

Dossena - kept Riise or Warnock (so much more better then Doss!)

Ngog - kept Sinama

Pennant - Ludovic Guily

alot of the current players are no better then what we had or could have had.
