The point i have been making which seems to of gone past yoour massive ego is the owners havent given 20 million pounds per season for Rafa to just go and spend on players unless others have been sold . Again you are taking spec- u lation as fact. Maybe we only got £12million for Keane or the signing on fee was huge? Maybe the rumours were right and we had to pay him his full contract when he left. Purslow has said that all player sales are used for buying players, and that we spent the same as usual.

Werent the figures from last year published already which showed we got 16 million for Keane from Spurs hence everyone asking where the money went from the sale and why Rafa didnt get it to purchase a replacement striker .

Those players were so fecking cr@p they had a string of medals behind them and won another couple after Rafa came. How many of our squad have won ANYTHING with Liverpool ? Gerrard and Carra (both here before Rafa came) and Reina. So ONE player Rafa has bought has won something with us.

What does that mean?
We could also sell Torres for 80 million any brag about not spending much money.

We finished four points behind them last season and they sold one of the best strikers in the Premiership and the World player of the year. This time we are a country mile behind, and yet you say it's nothing to do with the way we've done things.

That means even if they loose Ronaldo they have Rooney who will fill in alot of those boots as he is capable of producing similar numbers as Ronaldo given the chance.

Last season Manure had Ronaldo so Rooney was played out of position as a winger, both left and right. Now, Rooney can play where he likes it most, up top.


Torres is world class. But if we loose Torres we have no one close that could fill his boots or even come close of producing similar numbers. That is the difference!

Manure had such overflow of class last season.
Ronaldo, Rooney, Berbatov, Tevez!!!  All of who are class forwards. Only cost a cool 70-80 million....

We had Torres and not much else.

If manure loose a couple they have 2 top class forwards left which doesn't affect them that much.

No i asked a simple question about where the money was going to come from to buy the players which in my eyes is pretty relevant to a thread about buying players - ie you have to have money to buy them in the first place and i think we have realised that any players we buy are only funded by players being sold with next to f.uck all extra money coming from our owners .
