I've told a friend i think we'll do really well this season and i think that Kewell and Owen will be the main reasons and both will have fantastic seasons.

Who do you think will perform and why?

I think we'll see the best of Kewell as Benitez shown with Vicente (who in my opinion isn't quite as good) that he gets the best out of his wingers.

But i expect Owen to really have a belter of a season and shut all his idiotic doubters up... he's due a good season.

i voted for kewell, because i beleive we have the right manager to get the best out his obvious talents. As stu mentioned benitez has a proven track record of using wingers in his sides and this can only be good news for kewell, im expecting the kewell of leeds a few years ago to make a return this season, well hopefully

You cant go wrong if you say Gerrard will be player of the season and he will be the obvious choice. He is quite simply the driving force behind the whole team and if he plays the others will follow suit. Owen is due a good season and i am sure we will be talking about how he has come good again under Rafa but Gerrard is the one we will be talking about.

I really hope that player is Diouf but i cant see it?? It would be great to see him doing the stuff like he did in 2002 for Senegal but we have not seen it at Anfield. One things for sure that it wont be Igor!

biscan is just a downright disgrace to football in general, no manager no matter how good they are could turn him into a good player, i cant even imagine him being a decent squad player for us, but also i really cant see any team wanting to pay for his services, the only we will get rid of him is if we pay out his contract and he goes back to croatia for free!  :D  :D

Cisse will be that player.

He will compete at the level against Henry and RVN. I expect him to smash 30+ next season. :D

I am hoping we will have standup fights about who was the player of the season between four or more players.
Football is a simple game, all you have to do is pass the ball to a player in a red shirt.

I hope its kewell cos he knows hes better than he performed last season, if he can get goin next season along side gerrard in midfield, i can see are strikers, whoever it will be, bangin in plenty of goals.....id also love to see a big season from Sami again just to show he still is a world class defender and one of the best around and hopefully he doesnt have to go through the torture of havin biscan for a partner next season!
Chopper:Look, you're not still angry at me about the leg, are you?
Neville Bartos : Nah, forget about it.
Chopper : Because I don't know if you remember, Neville, but I had that bloody shotgun pointed at your head. I reconsidered and dropped it down to your kneecap. Remember?

I've gone for Cisse, I think he'll make a good impact in his first season, Kewell would be a very close second. After a disappointing season ( by his standards ) last year I expext him to be fired up and wanting to prove to the fans how great he can be.

gerrard again. hopefully he can put everything behind him and look to the future. these are exciting times for the club and gerrard should realise that he made the right decision by staying and captaining the best club in the world. :)

Cisse's sheer enthusiasm is a breath of fresh air.. especially with all that doom and gloom around the club and on this sight at times.. I thinks he'll have a great impact.. and the Boss admires him too... so he should get a decent chance to shine..

Baros..too hope he'll have a good one.. in fact I hope all of them too.. even the naff one's :)
