I really think this could be Kewell's year. Last year he missed a couple of months and struggled with niggling injuries but still managed to score 10 goals. With new more attacking system employed this season it could well bring out the best out of Kewell.

I think Owen will have a good one, getting better service.  But in general, I think the whole team will perform 100% better.  I think Rafa will give the whole team a kick in the ars£ and motivate the lazy b@st@rds to give their all, or move to another team.  Those left will give 100% every week.  The strong team spirit, and respect for the fans, will be back.

Oh, and we will lift the European Cup this year!!  (Ok, but I can dream, can't I?)

Hawkmoon-respect for the fans? i dont think the team were ever lacking that. You don't play for lfc if you've no respect for the fans. And as for benitez, i think if we dont make any progress in his fittseason he will be still there next year and he'll try a new approach to improving the team

Anyway, i think it'll be kewell- after having a disappointing season and being riddled wit injury he'll be aching to prove himself and step it up a gear.
HARRY, HARRY KEWELL
HARRY, HARRY KEWELL
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,
Steve Gerrard Gerrard.

Stapo,
If a player goes onto a football pitch and doesn't give 100% - he is not respecting the fans who paid for the privilege of watching.

Gerrard will only get even better playing in a team with better players around him and I wouldn't be surprised if he started scoring alot more goals.
Smith to Shankly:My thigh is a bit sore, but I think I could play.
Shankly to Fagan:Tell him,Joe.He has got no chance of playing.
Smith to Fagan:Tell him to sod off.It is not his leg,it's mine.
Shankly to Smith:Oh no son.You are wrong, son. It is not your leg.
It is Liverpool Football Club's leg.
