Again he showed his class today, he just needed a bit more support.

His pass to Sturridge (which sturridge should have buried in the back of the net) in the second half was jaw dropping

Coutinho was brilliant earlier ,especially when you take into consideration that was his first taste of a Merseyside Derby
It was no surprise that the Bitterz singled him out as our most potent threat ,but still he rode the hefty tackles from
the Everton yard dogs ,still he found the space to slip some simply beautiful threaded balls into Sturridge ,and still he
he had the ability to pierce a stern Bitterz rearguard..... Some player.

Coutinho is whats been missing for years here, a player with vision who can slot a through ball IN FRONT of a striker. Its not brain science, but very few players actually do it. As good as Henderson and Sturridge were at newcastle last week, they were as awful against those sh'its yesterday.
Coutinho tried but they let him down

The only player we bought this season good enough for a top 4 club, and still only 20 years old.
Inter made yet another mistake in selling their talented youngsters.

5 - Since he made his debut on Feb 11th, no player has assisted more Premier League goals than Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho (5). Smart.

He seems to be what we hoped Sterling would be.

The vision and weight of pass is some of THE best I've ever seen.

Phenomenal player.

That is some accolade and I know exactly where you are coming from. I have previously stated that I think he is one of the best players we have ever signed. Inter Milan clearly haven't heard of Specsavers !!

Mart: I think Danny Sturridge on his day is a title winning purchase. On the other hand when he is off it relegation could be a possibility !!   :grinning:

Danny and PC were the result of a new scouting regime. Didn't we bring in a couple of guys from Man City? More to follow hopefully. The summer will be interesting.

Quick feet and an even quicker brain. He's adapted to the premiership as though he's always played here. Outstanding player  :buttrock

He seems to be what we hoped Sterling would be.

To be fair to Sterling Reg, skills aside Coutinho's got an additional two years top flight experience under his belt.

He's a great player. And unless we get in some players of similar quality in the summer it won't be long before someone else comes in for him.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

Sterling will never be as dangerous for the oppo as Coutinho. Coutinho can beat you with the dribble, and also make that killer through pass... Sterling is faster and can also beat you with the dribble, but his passes are very ordinary. I'm afraid sterling can become a very one dimensional player...
