When the bitters visit Anfield we should all hold up a yellow card and then change it to a red card  Wonder if Clattenburg will be the ref............
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

tithead wrote:Crazy decisions yesterday. Gerrard went down under a VERY soft challenge. It's debatable whether it was outside or inside the the box though. The strangest part though was the ref changing his mind about the colour of the card after Gerrard had a word in his ear.

Lescott should have had a penalty late on too.

Dirk Kuyt's lunge on Phil Neville was worthy of a red card too, even more so than Tony Hibbert's.

Your a manc so you have no say on anything reguarding Liverpool.
If it happened to your beloved team you wouldnt complain I know you are and our blue breatheren love each other due to your both hatred of LFC.
But what goes on in Liverpool games has got feck all to do with you TBH.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

If what Tithead says is true, then most of Ronaldo's free kicks that he gets in games  are suspect.

haha really funny , couldn't stop laughing from mid page till i scrolled down here , don't ban on the ref being clattenburg or styles , the return fixture will have a ref who will be very cautious in decisions and thats gonna spoil the flow of the game

I don't have respect for fellow fans who can't admit when our team gets favored by the referee, or when bad decisions are key in us being able to go away with 3 points.  I can understand why Everton would be mad (the petition is ridiculous, if it's true). But, their anger is understandable. If the same thing happened the other way around, I know you would all be whinging about unfair treatment. The ref looked like he was on our payroll. Deal with it. Do I care? No, I don't. We won.  But I accept sh.it as it is.

FROM SOCCERNET

"Under-fire ref Clattenburg removed from duty

Mark Clattenburg will not be refereeing a Barclays Premier League match this weekend. The official was criticised for his handling of the Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool at Goodison Park on Saturday.

And the Professional Game Match Board have decided Clattenburg will not take charge of a top flight game this weekend.

The Tyne and Wear official incurred the wrath of Toffees manager David Moyes after he sent off Tony Hibbert for bringing down Steven Gerrard in the box.

Dirk Kuyt scored the penalty and 10 minutes later infuriated home fans and players for an aerial lunge at Everton's Phil Neville which only incurred a yellow card.

It meant Kuyt was still on the pitch and available to take the last-minute penalty which gave Liverpool a 2-1 victory.

Kuyt acknowledged afterwards the tackle 'looks bad', adding: 'Maybe I was a bit lucky.'

Everton's veteran defender Alan Stubbs said: 'It was a two-footed lunge. If a player leaves the ground with both feet, that's a red card.

'In the laws of the game if a player goes in with two feet and makes a lunge, and that is what it was, it's a red.'

On the penalty Stubbs added: 'The referee went to book Tony Hibbert holding a yellow card, Steven Gerrard walked past him (the referee) and it changed to a red.

'We saw the replays. That's disappointing. We were 1-0 at half-time and on top, we had control of the game.'

At the end Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher appeared to haul Joleon Lescott to the ground as Everton's nine men fought for an equaliser.

And Stubbs raged: 'If the referee looks at the decision again he will see the penalty appeal was right. Their lad had his arms all around Joleon, what was he supposed to do?

'It's a stonewall penalty. The referee was close, but that means nothing. He was close to a lot of things and didn't give them.

'We are disappointed because we have lost. But there was zero feedback from the referee, I think they should have to come out after a game and explain themselves.

'We have to explain ourselves if we make bad decisions or mistakes, why not referees? "

Looks like the poor sod's in a wee bit of trouble.

He's the second referee to have had some sort of disciplinary action taken on him after refereeing our match.... At this rate, no one will want to referee us in the future.... Would appear to be a "d@mned if you do and d@mned if you don't" sort of gig for them..

Just heard this on the radio. It's a complete nonsense, really. They are practically punishing the man because he awarded two pens in the one game. Stone wall ones I might add, so no fault of his there. He made all the right decisions at times, and during the game you could tell he was just trying to keep the game flowing even though there were obvious fouls happening. Hardly a Kunt Styles type of game from him, now was it? I never seen the pen incident of theres in the dying minutes, so I can't really comment. But from what I hear, it was six-a-dozen-half-the-other and "I've seen them given". Hardly cause for the man to be banned for that alone.

Well done, ref! You'd a great game in my opinion!  :bowdown

Not being biased or anything, but f*ck the bitters for taking it so harshly. I guess that's what you get for thinking were bigger than what they were by beating us 3-0 last season and celebrating it like Christmas. I was more annoyed at the c*nts last season when they set up that blue brick wall of shyte against us for a draw.

Moyes in SkySports website:

"Rob Styles phoned Liverpool to apologise over a penalty against Chelsea, but if Clattenburg did the same, I wouldn't take the call," he said.

"You wonder whether they allow themselves to be influenced by the top four. Didn't Clattenburg go to Hong Kong with Liverpool for the Asia Cup this summer? Maybe he wants to be their friend."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"be thier friend" ?!
