he is not really the required standard for LFC or England

I think he's proving that statement wrong Ace' if the title of this thread says "Crouch un-dropppable " coupled with his performances, It says to me he is starting to make the required standard IMO.

Still baffled as to why some fans seem so reluctant to give the lad the credit he deserves, some sound embarrassed to actually admit 'he's a good player'. He's simply carried off where he left off the back end of last season.

Im impressed at how his record is developing not only for club but also for country. I remember his first appearance at Old Trafford was greeted with boo's and now hes being cheered every game.

Im happy for the lad and although I dont see him playing every game as we know Rafa likes to emply a roational system, as long as he keeps scoring when he does play his confidence will remain high. His overall awareness seems to be improving aswell.

I think a lot of people thought that now Sven has gone Crouch might get an odd chance and would gradualy fade out but hes fast becoming a prolific striker. Hes earned every bit of credit that being thrown on him in recent times, but not all the credit has to go to him.

Rafa is the one who brought him herr whilst many on here and round th country including myself slagged him off. But admist Michael Owens injuries and Wayne Rooney not being able to keep his rattle in his pram Crouchy has become Mr Dependable.

On a personal note I was really hoping for his hat trick yesterday, but im sure he will have other chances in the future.

As we all know , Crouch only gets slagged because he doesn't look like your bog standard Striker.

All he can do is keep banging in the goals and play the way he's been playing.

That will prove the kn0bheads wrong.

Crouch went on: “I've dealt with criticism my whole career but maybe now I am starting to get the kind of respect I deserve. I'm scoring goals. Ever since I came into the England side I think I have done well, and people have started to realise I have a part to play with my country and I'll be able to do so for a long time.”

this quote sums crouchy up for me!! humble but driven we all know that there is still room for improvement but the lad proves doubters wrong at every occasion  nice PC YNWA

Keep it up Crouchie! They'll knock you all the time 'cause you're not a glamour striker but Alan Shearer said a forward should be judged on one thing.... Goals, Wayne Rooney would love your conversion rate for England......
