Rafa thinks crouch is a good player because he sees him part of his system and thats why he bought him. He has good technical abilities that really helps us! and what i saw against Aston Villa, Crouch can help us in away games because it seemed that liverpool won more possession and Crouch held the ball more to let the team go forward.

his judgment will come till the end of the season.

Like i said its easier to keep quiet over him because we have an awful lot of stevie wonders out there...seeing something that me a veteran of 31 years of going to Anfield....cant...and hoped he would never see wearing the shirt.

So how long exactley will you wait until you decide he's not what we are looking for ? ............ Jan , May , Sept 2006 ?

I'm taking a bet that Hypia will score before Crouch .

Barry i want him to prove me wrong but for 7m and what we could have had bought for that much its got to be a  goal tally in double figures no less.

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Still amazed at the goodwill in this forum that is extended to Crouch . He was never good enough to wear our shirt AND never will be .

F'uck it , what a waste of £7 million . We could have put that in our piggy bank and saved up to  bring  back Mickey .

ps to all you hand jobs that disagree with my perspective , go fk yourselves (again) .

I cant agree with any of that especially the "bring mikey back" it was his decision to join the ambitious Newcastle United who haven't won a trophy in 50 YEARS when he could have told the papers and Real Madrid that there was no other team apart from Liverpool he wanted to join, whos to say he wouldnt have missed that penalty today...... when crouch scores in a 1-0 win for us (hopefully over everton) i'm sure you wont be saying he was a waste of £7 million

Its not blind faith doggy!
Its optomism and a bit of hope!
I feel its too early to judge, thats all.
It was'nt long ago on here a lot were crying about Morientes and saying that he'll never cut it in the Prem! Then he scores a few and they all say nothing!
I believe that players should be given time before people call for their heads!
Especially when they keep their chins up like Crouch has and keep working!

Pools on MOTD now!! :buttrock

I like Peter Crouch.

He'll score. He only needs one and then more will come.

It's confidence.

He's still playing pretty well and we are winning. I give respect and credit to the LFC crowd though who were very supportive of him.

But a good win. A good three points. Four points away from our target.

Barry , I'm not gonna knock you for supporting Crouch , he does make a contribution . Like all supporters I want our players to succeed , but I just don't think Peter "nice guy" Crouch will ever do enough to justify Rafa's decision to buy him .
