Reports suggest it is because he didn't get the promotion he expected would come. DoF I think.

surely he knew back when rodgers got the job that there was to be no dof so i dont know why it has taken him this long to act.

wow, didnt see this coming, i hope borrell doesnt get disillusioned because his mate has gone.
i thought segura and borrell were supposed to be 2 of the architects of this cruyff-esque masterplan that would have us playing the same way right through all levels of the club.
by the looks of it someone made him promises that they didnt keep.

Oh man, this is not good. If there was one big upside from BRs appointment, I really hoped that the entire academy setup would get off to a fantastic start. This is quite the opposite, on the eve of EPL season too

Really have had no concerns about other events since BR took over, but this is a blow.

Cheer up son, the academy's been a fantastic drain on resources over the last 7 years, I suspect a complete revamp is in order anyway.
