i just find it very difficult to believe that Rafa allow a player to tell him who he should, and should not, sign. I think the nearest thing Rafa would say is "we are looking to buy PROVEN quality players" such as Alonso/Morientes etc

whats puzzling me is why rafa announced his need for a winger and a centre back when he usually keeps his cards so close to his chest, especially if these players are so close to signing. im sure there are talks going on but the press suggest that stelios, malbranque, andrade and upson are more realistic

we dont know how much cash we have available, but the quick despatch of baros says to me that we need money to but a right winger as we are perhaps less likely to get figo(?) we already made bids for milito so the money for a cb was already there but we could have more than we think. sponsors pay alot for a champions league victory i reckon

Why we have to bring back owen after we sold him out last season? Think about it.

don't count on it...i hear from my source that owen will go to arsenal..

Some Gooner say that won't happen as Owen is not an ideal partner to Henry like Bergkamp is/was.

I think we have moved on from owen, dont forget he left us in the lurch when he finally decided he wanted away. Rafa may not want him back? the only reservation i have about him coming back to the prem would be if he signed for "the scum" anyone but that shower!.
