I would have him. He,s done wonders at burnley and bolton, he would motivate our squad. He,s Scottish managed northern clubs. Ring any bells!

Some managers do better with smaller clubs, when they get to a big club they find themselves struggling. I think it would be a sideways step imo.

I voted yes.  Something about him tells me he could be well up to it.  I also get the feeling that he wouldn't put up with players giving a half assed effort.

He would however have to ditch the training clothes.  Wonder what he looks like in a suit.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

He means f**koff, as in you are a f**khead, it is a f**ked idea and s**t like that should be meant with the contempt it deserves.

Owen Coyle........

Id inteprete that as a no. :D

I'm sure he is a nice enough guy but it sounds like Roy all over again only minus the scandi clubs and any other stints abroad. Too often people come out with this "if he can get them playing well then imagine what he can do with the likes of.....".

If prefer to see how he performs at a bigger club first, somewhere like Villa. I just think the next manager we go for, we have to make sure they can do the job. I'm all for an up and coming dynamic manager but I have a sneaky suspicion the owners will want someone more credentials than Burnley and Bolton. Even on Burnley you could question the guys character leaving them mid season like that.

ok so what do you EXPERTS suggest then?  Go on give names who you think we should get.because you say this is a forum for opinions then when you make one, you get beasted for it.

Well im slightly flabbergasterd mate tbh

Why Owen Coyle??

I personally would say Frank Rijkaard, but still I know he wouldnt be the ideal person for the job but at least he has some credibility and experience to his name (he won stuff at barca)

Owen Coyle isnt a bad manager mate but hes managed Burnley and Bolton?

Its your opinion mate, I respect that but its a bit of a bizzare suggestion if you ask me!

To be honest aside from Rijkaard there isn't really anyone noteworthy available. But in terms of a shortlist of who id like if they were available id go with the below.

Hiddink
Quique Sánchez Flores
Pellegrini
Deschamps
Joaquim Lowe
Marcelo Bielsa

Id like to say Capello too but the guy strikes me as clueless sometimes plus after several years managing England he still isn't able to speak English properly.
