benitez took a team in spain who in my knowledge had never won the primera league and with little money transformed them into a team who beat the likes of real madrid, barca and deportivo to the title twice out of the last 3 seasons. liverpool are in a similar situation to what valencia where when he took over. i would put good money on a rafa benitez liverpool after a few games of team gelling to beat a rafa benitez valencia any day.

i cant think of any other european managers who have transformed such feats at the highest level in the last few years apart from one guy and the portuguse league isnt the strongest.

WHO DO WE WANT IN CHARGE OF THIS CLUB BENITEZ AND PARRY OR MOURHINHO ABRAMOVICH AND KEYON? ? ? ?

What are people's problems with stating a few facts regarding injuries and loss of form on here ? When did LFC have the divine right not to lose players through injury and loss of form ?

I'm just curious as to the number of changes because to jump from 18th to 2nd shows that nothing is impossible.

Is a player that under performs all season worth having, the difference between the premiership and the rest is conistency.....2 we had some pretty bad games last season but i guess when you get on a roll its all about confidence.....3. If you want class you have to pay for it nowadays look how much we paid for Reyes and how much RM  are willing to pay for veira. 4. You are judged on today not yesterday..Liverpool have a great history but it means nothing when the opposition run out on the pitch...If the gooners lose the first 2 matches this season how does last seasons record help them.. football is all about now not yesterday thats why its so good..5 personally i think you will do ok next season but i cant see you improving on 4th the reasons been ...Benitez will need time to bed in and get his ideas across to the team also he has to learn the premiership and its players.. if he tries to install Valencias way he will get a shock ..La Liga and the premiership have different styles..plus your right side is shocking i dont know who you will

Just don't ever bring injuries into a situation
They r just part and parcel of football, teams no they will happen and the big clubs (Liverpool) should have a large enough squad of quality players to deal with it.
This is where our down fall as been under houlier to many average players on the bench
