It's good to see that our players are optimistic yet realistic about this season. They seem to be happy with how things are going ever since Benitez has come. A total difference between last year and this year.

Now if only some of the fans would be a bit more optimistic and patient

I think most fans are reasonably up-beat.We know there will be a period of adjustment and settling in for a few players.I suspect any rumblings of pessimism appeared because of loosing 2 games on the bounce,but thats football.Awin on Saturday and all will be forgotten and everyone will be cheerful again.I actually haven't seen any real signs of pessimism,not like last year anyway.

Last year= French players who were waste of money.

Wasn't just the french players....the established,so called world stars,internationals,big names,had all lost respect for Monsieur Houllier..them team spirit was evaporating slowly but surely.

I hope rafa's revolution can see past the bootroom and influence them putting in more match refreshment staff who might have the common sense to pre pour a pints b4 half time.
