I think you need to take a good look at the quotes or articles you have got this information from. Nowhere has GH labeled him the next, new or young henry, he has mentioned that he is quicker than him, which from what I have seen is right, but not compared their style, attributes or likened one to the other, only said one was faster than the other.

You need to stop turning every article, game and newspaper column you read into another opportunity to slag of Gerrard Houllier. He is the manager right now, and he will be the manager from the start of next season. Get used to it.

Maybe you should channel your energy into getting behind the club, manager and players, rather than slagging one or all off at every possible opportunity.

Before you ask, I too would rather we had a new manager, but its not going to happen.

I got it from itv cfax page 511, unlike u Foolier doesn't speak directly to me  :p  But going on his form so far it was a "story " I was inclined to blieve. :)
And I'm not slagging Foolier, his record on quotes to the press speak for themselves

Agree completely.

As for Cheyrou, he could become a superb player if he relaxed and played his natural game in central midfield.

It was on Cfax last night but is no longer there .
Essentially he is reported as saying " Cisse can be as good as Henry, he has the ability but needs to develop that skill "
Sounds like the usual GH (notice I didn't call him Foolier  :D ) and this time I REALLY hope he's right.

Houllier know what he talking about Cisse, he know Cisse for long time since French Youth Academy, I think it is St. Clairefontaine. Houllier helped Cisse to become a better player when he was young and now he is top player in France. I am quietly confident that Cisse will be very good signing for Liverpool next season, I am pretty sure you all will be amazed to see him how good is he. I trust Houllier's comment about Cisse. So, I am giving Houllier another chance to prove himself next season, I am sure we will be better and getting stronger next season.

Never mind about Biscan the new Maldini, or Diouf the new Pele, did Houllier said that? I don't believe so, because it was the Media so they love to take the p1ss out on Houllier. But the media will be gobsmacked this summer when Houllier's going to buy World Class player and international star player too this summer, you all will be shock and very exciting too, so just sit back and enjoy your peace.

The quote doesn't say that at all. :)

You've twisted his words. It said "Cisse is as quick as Henry, he doesn't have the same skill level yet, but we know this will develope".

Houllier wouldn't say "he has the ability but needs to develope that skill". Managers and coaches and anyone with common sense knows that ability and skill are the same thing. Potential and ability are different things.

woof woof, any chance you get to have a go you seem to want to do it. Can't you just get of the backs of the team and manager for once and show an ounce of support. The chances are you've seen less of Cisse than myself, i've been impressed by what i've seen. You are the prime example of someone who can't see past media hype, form and confidence.

The way you rave about Lampard and slag off our team and players supports this.

Its quite tiresome to be honest.

Stu , the Next Mr ANGRY :D  (joking lad Ok ):D

I hope Cisse proves to be as successful in England as he patently is in France.

As for Cheyrou, pre season playing Lazio aside and perhaps the Newcastle Cup game i've yet to witness his quality and class. Like all LFC players i hope he comes through and makes an impression , I realise he has taken time to settle and suffered a couple of injuries but in this game time is a premium and fans aren't as patient as Houllier appears to be .....

The comments houllier made when cheyrou signed were ridiculous and put a huge amount of pressure on the poor guy.
On top of that he has played him out of position in numerous matches and has hardly helped him settle in at the club.
Not many players impress when they are not played in their best position as we have witnessed with biscan, diouf, diao, heskey, carragher, smicer and cheyrou.
I agree with most Cisse does look like a class act but by houllier saying he is quicker than Henry does that mean we will still be playing long balls over the top? ???
Smith to Shankly:My thigh is a bit sore, but I think I could play.
Shankly to Fagan:Tell him,Joe.He has got no chance of playing.
Smith to Fagan:Tell him to sod off.It is not his leg,it's mine.
Shankly to Smith:Oh no son.You are wrong, son. It is not your leg.
It is Liverpool Football Club's leg.

I thought it meant Houllier thinks he's quicker than Henry.

Wonder what gave me that idea ???

i don't know how this discussion even started. houllier never said it. he just said that cisse was quicker than henry. everyone knows the guy has a lot of developing to do before he's anywhere near henry's class.

It started because woof woof wanted to look clever and have yet another go at our manager.

i agree that cheyrou has potential given a run in the centre of midfield. but can you realistically see this happening next season? i can't. cheyrou has already been confirmed as a bit part player who gets the odd 15 minutes here and there when everyone is fit.
