That's a great signing for you, i think this year could be your year if i;m quite honest. it will take something special to get past chelsea but i think if you keep players fit then you will do it.

Benitez is a great manager and has certainly brought in some quality players to try and get infront of chelsea.

Well he is able to play tomorrow but I think we should wait because putting him in without training with the rest of the squad would be wrong and throwing him in at the deep end.

Dirk Kuyt could make his debut at Sheffield United tomorrow after the Reds received international clearance for him to play.
The formalities of his transfer from Feyenoord were completed before the midday deadline, meaning he is eligible to make his first appearance in a Liverpool shirt at Bramall Lane.

However, manager Rafael Benitez has hinted his latest arrival may have to wait a while longer before we get to see our new number 18 in action.

He said: "I think it will be difficult for him to play this game because he has only just arrived.

"The other players have been training and working all week preparing for the match so we need to take that into consideration."

Kuyt is ineligible for Liverpool's Champions League qualifier against Maccabi Haifa in Kiev next week

Why is Kuyt ineligible for the Champions League game?

Why is Kuyt ineligible for the Champions League game?

He wasn't registered in time. The only players available are those that were in the squad a few days before the 1st leg took place.

Is he ineligible for just one game or the whole competition? Did he play for Feyenoord in the qualifying stages?
