Anelka1907, I am sorry you seem to have taken a bit of lighthearted banter the wrong way, but if you're going to stand up for yourself by using the racism card, you can do it elsewhere.  Any racist posts will be deleted.

Repeat, this is the Champions League discussion thread.

Everyboady talks to racisim cards what card. I just know poker carrd to play.

But i am oppose of  identification with animal and taht membre did it again before 2 or 3 months ago with a turkey pic.

But if that guy wants to identification  me i propose him that pic.

.. the Boss is confident.. and the lads have trained well this week.. :)

RAFA: GLORIOUS PAST CAN INSPIRE US TO NEW GLORY
Mark Platt 19 May 2005
Rafael Benitez insists the four replica European Cups that reside in the Liverpool trophy cabinet act as an inspiration to him and his players ahead of the forthcoming Champions League Final.
As the countdown to the big game against AC Milan intensifies Benitez can find no time in his hectic schedule to take a look at the most famous quartet in the club museum.

But as a keen student of the Reds' illustrious past the boss is well aware of just what it would mean to everyone at Anfield if European Cup number five can be brought home next week.

"The four European Cups act as an inspiration to us all. I haven't had time to see them this week but it would be fantastic for everyone at the club if there's a fifth one to go alongside them very soon," says Benitez, who appears totally focussed on the task in hand.

"It's 20 years since Liverpool last played in a European Cup Final and we are in it to win it. For sure, AC Milan will start as favourites but we can beat them. They have more experience but we are hungry and have a lot of confidence.

"My players are relaxed and I am very proud at the prospect of leading them out for a Champions League Final. It is, at this moment, the most important game I have ever been involved in and you never know when such an opportunity will come along again.

"I hear there is going to be so many of our fans out in Istanbul and we hope to repay them by winning the cup. After today we are finished with the press and will be thinking only about football"
THE BRENDAN REVOLUTION IS UPON US !

KING KENNY.. Always LEGEND !

RAFA.. MADE THE PEOPLE HAPPY !

Miss YOU Phil-Drummer - RIP YNWA

Wow! Some stress!! Guys, for those who will go to Istanbul; do you see the level of anger in Turkish Football fans (90% of the population). The level of fanatizm is not comparable to any other place in the worls, especially in football and basketball and on nationality. GOOD ADVICE - Get a Turkish Flag with you. It will be a great pass for you. Do not wear those "fez", the ottoman style caps. Turkish feel bad about thaT. They feel like it is questioning the level of their civilization. As for some safety advices; plese do not hook up with any of Turkish fans of Galatasaray or Besiktas, for tix, accomodation etc. Galatasaray fans are at a very angry stage to everyone. And I have been to the CL game we had with GS. They have a game with Fenerbahce for championship tis Sunday and have very tiny chance to get the title. And Besiktas fans are famous with their illegal activities in drugs and that kinda stuff. Do not take the risk. I will be going to Istanbul tonight and will see the Sunday Derby. Check it out in any Turkish cafe or restaurant, to see the tension I am talking about. Fenerbahce fans will be cool, I guess. Anyway, good luck to everyone, C U in Istanbul.

Anyway...Most people in Turkey will be with LFC in the final, Fenerians or 6alatsaray fans..I have lots of friends who have bought tickets to support LFC..
Nevermind Anelka1907, he's a bit nervous for the 'turkey' joke..

It is good to see there are some nice 5enerians around. It looks that last accident in Turkish Cup final in Istanbul made you to see who is who.

Anyway, this is LFC forum and I am sure we both do not want to invade their forum by our endless fights  :D

We will be there to support LFC.

It is better not to judge or generalize people with few examples. If so, people would get wrong conclusions from Heysel.

We like our guests to feel like home anywhere in Turkey. This will be no different in Istanbul during CL final.

There will be provocators but I am sure you will not give them a penny! You can see some of them in this forum, as well.

I have two friends from this forum already and we will have beer together with Anchor man and his brother in Istanbul next week.

Come, enjoy, win and relax!

We will YNWA together, same tone and aloud you did after Chelsea game!

Cheers!

hi there from İstanbul,

a few warnings for the folks who will come here...
the stadium is so far away from the center of the city and will be a terrible traffic jam for sure, better go early...
the stadium's atmosphere isnot that good, because of the running track and upstairs are better places to watch(if u drink so much u maynot see anything thoug)
anyway we've got our tickets and will be supporting u...
