I think he is a CB and COULD be a great addition to a squad. Only question is his overwhelming 6 million price tag and of course, he is after all a dirty scum.

i may be a bit biased towards him as an irishman BUT i have seen an awful lot of o' shea and possibly his best position is at LB, definately not a RB. he plays a lot centrally but the reason he was out of the team last season was due to Heinzes arrival (left back) i think hes under-rated, alex doesnt like him, hes got 1yr left on his contract so he'll go for £3mill if alex can get rid of him.

now, he's maybe not world class but definately an improvement on 'dodgy' traoare at left back for £3m

i say he would be a great addition to the squad,he can play LB or CB,£6 mil maybe a bit steep.

he plays for the scum at the min but he is a boyhood pool fan!

Would take him for the right price, had one excellent season at Manure, if he repeated that form he'd be an asset and is also quite versatile but not sure he's sign with us as a squad player.

but wouldnt sign him as a centre back replacement for Sami

Good player he is. Would not mind taking him away from Manchester. I know their fans would be devastated if he left. That's a superb combo, isn't it? Getting a good player and making Man Utd fans sad.

Yeah I was just going to say: If we can get Evra, why would we want O'Shea?

O'Shea is a good solid defender, but not what we need, oh and O'Shea is a Liverpool supporter lads.

I know a lot of scum fans and some of them who claim to be 'in the know' have been saying for a while that Ferguson is not happy with O'Shea's fitness.  Apparently he is pretty fond of a night on the town and has struggled to keep his weight down this season.

Might be a load of :censored: anyway, but what the hell

Being Irish myself I have always rated O'Shea when he plays for Ireland, but he seems to be more inconsistent when playing for United.  Personally I wouldn't want to sign someone directly from United

Good player, but Man Utd and Liverpool simpy don't do business together, so would be very surprised if he came here.
