It'll be good to finally see what he's made of.

Steve Finnan has done alright playing on the right even though he has been playing out of position.  But hopefully Nunez will be the answer on a more permanent basis.  Who do you think was the best right sided midfielder we ever had ?

The great Liverpool sides had people who could play all over the park.. I cant remember us ever having a player who was exclusively right sided, although Steve Highway was an out an out winger??

Heighway played more often on the left than the right (remember his goal in the '71 cup final when he cut inside from the left and caught Bob Wilson on his near post).  Jimmy Case and Ray Houghton are great two right sided midfielders that spring to mind from ourglorious past.

jimmy case was top class. we need to distinguish the difference between a right sided midfielder and a right winger. the last real winger we had was macca.

Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On
