I'm not slating the guy at all and I cannot wait to see him in action but you'd swear by listening to some people that we just signed Baraja or someone.

True, but in this instance I'm trusting Rafa who has been tracking Nunez for some time now. Plus although he didn't make that many appearances why would Madrid hold onto him so long if they didn't rate him . Hard for him to get a lot of starts when Figo was the man he had to dislodge .

Also i bet Arsenal fans were saying Viera is a complete mystery when they signed him from Milan after making 2 appearances. Lets hope this lad can make a big impact?

he is currently the ONLY NATURAL RIGHT WINGER at the club. he would provide a balance that we have missed for ages.

Hopefully another great catch from Benitez. If he turns out to be as good and hard working as Josemi. Then our right hand side will be friggin great.

With Kewell back on track he and Riise would make an excellent left. Gerrard and Alonso a great central mid., and Cissè and Baros progressing into a dynamite-duo upfront. And then with Rafa to manage it all we can take on anyone! My money`s on that the trophy is carried through the gates of Anfield at the end of this season

Simple but effective new tune for nunez, to the tune of Batman:

Not the wordiest song ever I know, but I don't know much about the lad.

We could then get some special effects on clips of his tackles on .tv so those Batman-style «POW !!» & «KER-BASH !!» captions come up, too!

Then before you know it Josemi is another cult full-back named after a kids TV character & he's scoring winning goals in European Cup finals in Paris and that kind of thing.

I think someone called him " Josemite Sam " often seen shooting the sh*t out of bugs bunny .
