Now the dust has settled - An objective view

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I've watched a re-run of that Henry goal a few times today and your right Woof, Tommy Smith would never have let Henry get anywhere near the box.
Neither would Souness, Case, Hansen, McMahon and so on and so on.
Even Cally would have laid the guy out rather than see him take the micheal out of us like he did.
I'm not advocating foul play - just some courage and a bit of guts. We played like a bunch of girls in the second half and it's not the first time that has happened this season.
Apologies to any girls reading this post because I know you would have done much better than the muppets at Highbury yesterday.

Well put but if you read the piece in The People today it would appear that Houllier will be staying whatever happens this season.
What is the mindset of the board ?

We the fans have the power to get rid of that useless waste of space houllier. The attendance at home 2 charlton barely scraped 40k and maybe if it dropped down another 10k the board might realise they must see sense and get rid of that dummy.
Smith to Shankly:My thigh is a bit sore, but I think I could play.
Shankly to Fagan:Tell him,Joe.He has got no chance of playing.
Smith to Fagan:Tell him to sod off.It is not his leg,it's mine.
Shankly to Smith:Oh no son.You are wrong, son. It is not your leg.
It is Liverpool Football Club's leg.
