Now stevie is out for a while i think it time for Harry Kewell to step up a few gears and get going and show us the form he had at Leeds we need goals from him to take the pressure of cisse and baros.

i've been saying that for 6 MONTHS NOW. the problem is, i see no signs to suggest that kewell is getting back to his best form. at first i just thought he was another player who was suffering in a poor side under houllier. however now i'm not so sure. everyone knows he has the ability. it's his application (or lack of it) that really p#sses me off.

Maybe Kewells best days are behind him. Theres no set age to reach a peak and players can hit top form and never get back to that level. Fowler is a prime example. Perhaps the Kewell we saw at Leeds is gone forever. There is certainly no sign of a revival any time soon. A great pity if hes lost it.Heres hoping he can find it again.

I don't know about Harry Kewell, stepping up a few gears.
I think it will more likely to be a cruise down to the slip road and off at the next junction !! ???  ???

Harry needs to step now and score goals, as mentioned before he defo has the ablity to be one of the most fierced wingers in the world. I remember we all said last season Harry will improve next season and didnt have a good previous season..its not looking like that now

What we are seeing now is a Kewell who cant do jack sh*t he scored some good goals for us mentioning some against his former club leeds at elland road, against arsenal at home, against manu at home and more.

I think kewells time will come soon and will get back to normal, we just have to wait.

I wouldn't place my hopes in Kewell. Try Hamman,Alonso,Warnock and even maybe Nunez.

I've said it somewhere (but I can't remember) but to me it seems that Kewell thrives when he is the star.  I think maybe he's got a bit of an ego problem, but when he was at his best at Leeds he was the best and most famous player they had.  For Australia where he continues to show good form even after he might of had a shocker for liverpool he is once again the best and most famous player.  I think his problem is mental rather than technical and that having Gerrard out might elevate him a bit and make him shine.

Every player is different and its the coach's job to find out what makes them tick.  Rafa said he thought Kewell was starting to be more active and show more ability and flair at training so maybe just one good game or a super pass might give him the confidence to try it on the pitch.

So much talent but no heart at all! You often wonder does Harry really realise the importance of playing for a club like this after some poor performances? I really expect Warnock to be given the nod after the Norwich game if he puts in another gutless display! Hate getting on his back but im frustrated as hell with Harry Kewell!
