So busy at the mo i rarely get to post just lately.
I don't know that Kewell is some sort of 'big ego' player. The guy could have gone to the Mancs or maybe even Arsenal who have both been winning more but he chose to come to his boyhood club. I like the way the guy talks about LFC + i'm not sure being a smaller fish in a bigger pond should make much difference to the way the lad plays :-(
However, there is clearly something missing at the moment and he needs a goal more than anyone in the squad right now. Was good to see him working hard against Monaco last week but he does seem to be playing scared when he has the ball at his feet, usually ciming inside when the byline beckons or playing the easy ball where he used to take it on.
Gettting back to the thread, very interesting to see how the boys do without the skipper these next 2 months. Have a feeling we will really see what Alonso is made of + the returning Nunez will hopefully give us something extra on the right (when is he back? must be soon)
