There will be millions of neutral fans out there who will be wanting to see us play next season. All the fans who's team arent in the Champions league will want a team to follow or choose to watch, Liverpool will be a desirable team to watch and therefore UEFA and Champions league sponsors will make some more money if Liverpool are playing and a large audience is watching.


But remember World Cup winners are not automatically allowed to defend their trophy, although I believe this was brought in to benefit the winners so they would be getting some competetive matches under their belt.
