"We have some names who we are trying to see if we can do something. We have two or three we are looking at but it will be difficult."

So no money to get anyone. Unless Bable feck's off today and thats not looking all to likely.

I'm getting really peeved with our owners now that I might have to dip into my personal wealth and drop Rafa £20 million so he can go buy a striker.

not happy bunny today.

If he aint getting any funds to buy a striker, I don't see why he cannot use Pacheco as a sub to see how he does instead of having him warming the bench every week.

Babel seems to be the primary chance of someone leaving before the window closes at 5pm and unless he gets off it is highly unlikely that any new faces will come in to Anfield. It is widely expected by most people that it will be a quiet final day for Liverpool and the majority of business before the transfer deadline will probably involve Harry Redknapp in some way or other.

Amen to that, he'll probably take Yossi's place over time, similar sort of player imo

All a bit too late unless there are funds we don't know of, I mean to sell someone (say Babel) and bring someone in with hours to go is pushing it.

Even if rumours fergie is not impressed with Owen are true, I can't see them selling or releasing someone to us.
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

Even if we wanted him, Fergie would rather let him rot in the reserves than go to us. Anyway isn't he paid on appearences, if so its not going to cost them anything if he doesn't play.

yeah, we've only lost because we haven't spent 100 million!

nothing to do with tactics or the players underperforming or bad management or...

wait, this thread is just about if we'll sign someone today...

Nah, why would we, unbeaten in 6, and maybe, just maybe Rafa can see that if we attack we might actually score and win games with who we got
