Er wrong. Jose Antonio Reyes came from Spain and struggled in the Premiership last year. It took him 9 months to fully settle in. Get your facts straight buddy

cisse was suppouse to be marking silvestre yet he lefted him unmarked to head 2 goals in the net and immedeatley got subbed cisse the honeymoon peroid is over start chasing lost causes dnt just stop running and make some effort at least heskey chased lost caused and defended unlike cisse :angry:

I realise now how big a job Rafa has on his hands. The Houllier legacy is not very rich at all and is capped by what could possibly be a waste of £14m together with attendant salaries etc.
Without SG for two months, we will need lot's of patience.
Let's hope some of our concerns about the quality of some of our squad members is not realised and they do prove to be top class performers after all. But somehow I doubt it, I personally am very concerned. :blues:

Cisse needs time. You don't just happen to get top scorer in France for nothing and get picked for France. But he does need to take his blinkers off and so too does Baros.

I remember when we signed Kewell a Leeds mate of mine told me he wasn't bothered and that he might have a good game and then do nothing for the next 10 games. He was used to it. Looks like the same again. Duff is who we should have got.

Dudek is not a league winning keeper either. He doesn't instill confidence in me.

great i agree we should of got duff but the liverpool board and houiller was stubborn to cough up 15m for duff and i made a post we should go for duff in january and someone where saying we got kewell about your all feelings pretty stupid now and one person said duff is no better than patrick berger

SO CIsse needs time does he? whats that for? to score goals, or even to just make some effort on the pitch to chase balls etc and show some workrate?

define just what we need to give him time for.

At least with Alonso and Garcia, you can see some spark there. which is why they were brought into the team, to make an immediate impact.

I cant see Cisse growing into a world class player in an LFC shirt. give him 2/4 years or whatver, he's just another Heskey

Believe me, I sincerely hope he isn't another Heskey but not all players have great games straight away. Granted Garcia and Alonso have made a quick impact and that's more than welcome. I've seen Owen go through exactly the same.
