I think that you have some nice players there, especially Robben because he is not fitting in so well at Madrid and he might be looking to come back to England.  Silva is a very good young talent too who might also be looking to change clubs if Valencia don't make the CL.  We'd scare the sh!t out of everyone with those two on the wings.

thx mate , but i honestly can't see robben coming , silva is a possibility like u said , if valencia don't make the cl , what position are they now?? Alves has been our long term target and hasn't been signed by a big club yet so we could prob get him for say 14 million , silva for 15 million , hunteelar for 15 million and finish the 18 million deal for masch , Any ideas on a cheap right winger??

If we spend big bucks again on another top striker I wouldn't mind going after Clint Dempsey, a lot of you will say he isn't of the Liverpool standard, but he would be pretty cheap and better than Kewell, he can play on either wing or behind the striker and he is a decent goal threat, AND I think his game would only get better playing with other top players, which might take a little bit of getting used to

A big fish in a Small pond , that's what he is . He won't be a starter , he maybe a squad player

I believe we've been interested in Silva before, in fact I think we even put in a bid for him in the summer.  As for Robben I think that he can play on both wings and even in the hole.  He may be available in the summer because he is just not settling in at Madrid.

I would normally agree, but it didn't hinder Chelsea when they had Robben and Duff playing.

They played a different system to us, and it's plainly not what we need.

Silva signed a new contract with Valencia last summer, rumours about players are rife always. It doesn't mean Rafa's interested in them.

They played a different system to us, and it's plainly not what we need.

If rafa does sign 2 "left" wingers according to you , i'm sure he will change his system

He can play on both wings, but he'd be cutting inside on his left foot all the while, because he's not a natural right winger. I believe we need a player who can skim players out wide, get to the by-line and put in a cross. Robben doesn't have a right foot.

Yes he's preferred foot would be his left but the same can be said for many players who play on a different direction from their foot . I think it's a load of bollox , duff and robben were both turning defenders inside out and no it oes not depend on the system , robben has the ability to beat players , regardless of what foot he is. A winger should be comfortable even with his weaker foot , etc , ronaldo who can play on either flank

Just because of that incident , u gonna hold it as a grudge all ur life? would not want him playing for LFC ?
