So is Ronaldo, Dawson , but I would still like him to play for us.

Ronaldo is much, much better with his weaker foot than Robben, and he's a better player than Robben.

Robben's best form has been on the left, at Groningen, at PSV, at Chelsea and with Holland.

He can play on the right, but he'd coming inside an awful lot. Our fullbacks are hardly the most marauding and I think we'd lose natural width as a consequence. If his right foot was a fair bit stronger, I'd be more comfortable seeing him on the right, but it's not.

He's a natural left winger.

so if diouff gets his form we should take him back?

Sorry, i wouldnt want Robben. Ronaldo is different... hes not been as bad as Robben against us.

for same reason id never want Gudjohnson after he tried to get Alonso kicked out of the champs league semis...

but robben has no place in a liverpool shirt.

this argument could go on for pages , lets just drop it here ok , with u having the last say of the discussion , end of the day , it's the owners and rafa decide who's coming in and going out

Reina

Alves            Carragher         Agger                Arbeloa

Bentley         Gerrard           Mascherano          Petrov

                             Modric

                             Torres

Will never happen I know, and probably a few controversial ones in there!

My thinking is that Bentley and Petrov have been the 2 best wide players in the premiership for end-product this season (after Ronaldo obviously).  Bentley is quality imo and his all-round game has really improved, whereas Petrov at 29 would be good for a season or two and we could probably get him as any part of a Crouch deal.

Alves and Modric are both exciting players, which is something we have a lack of, and will both probably move to bigger clubs this summer.

Probably overall that team would be way beyond our budget, but what the hell!

Great to see you posting again John.

Interesting lineup, however if I were Benitez I would try to sign the David Silva fella from Valencia to play on the left, he is unhappy in Valencia because of their poor form and we can get him up to 11m because Valencia would be looking to sell if he wants to leave.

Alright mate, I have been computer-less for some time now, but got a new one this week so should be around a bit more often.

As for Silva, I certainly wouldn't be against that if he was available.

Reina
Adriano (Sevilla)
Agger
Carragher
Arbeola
Silva (Valencia)
Macherano
Gerrard
Queresma (Porto)
Crouch
Torres
RES
Itandje
Riise
Lucas
Skertl
Babel

Maybe pick up Adriano(Inter) Santos (Barca) N'Zogbia (Newc)or Bale (Spurs) if the price is right but I think we're muting panic buys at present

To fund buys: Xabi, Kuyt, Hypia, Kewell

I wouldn't sell hyppia...he has been our best defender this season (even better than carra).....

In fact he will be just after Mascherano for liverpool player of the year.....

Kewell - God...it hurts me to say this...i am a huge kewell mark...but maybe its time for him to go.

Kuyt - Has to go

Voronin - Has to go

Alonso - will sell him for 20 million....

Then with this money and the summer transfer money from the owners...lets buy a world class left winger and a striker.

Any dosh left should be used to buy a left back. Buy Quality....no more quantity...
