I don't know about some of you but to me Stevie just showed his immaturity in handling the whole situation. I mean how difficult is that to ask Rafa face-to-face "am I in your fuc*kin plan going forward or what? I am prepare to give 110% and unless I get the same commitment from the club, the it's better to sell me" Ask not what you can get but what you can give.

To me, he has just tarnish his status as the club's captain as far as I'm concern. It will take his wholehearted declaration of commitment to the club to get it back. Otherwise, he is no more than a glorified immature mercenary in my book...sorry about that but don't think the club can afford this whole circus act season after season. We need to move on, with or without a certain StevieG

Any comments from RB? The team does not belong to one man only - SG. If SG staying mean disruption to the whole team and as a result RB feel that there is two bosses in LFC. We are in big :censored:

But i think he lost his legend status during the last two weeks... needs to work real hard to earn that status now!!

happy...sure yeah but some how the after taste seems bitter sweet and I don't know why. Probably OD from all these emotional rollercoaster

I think there's thousands of us feeling exactley the same way Santa, part of me is still pi'ssed off that we were put through the emotional wringer , for what ? .
Time to move on all's well that ends well . Really looking forward to our season kickin' off (again

On the one hand I'm relieved he's staying - he's a great player but on the other, we could have got a lot of decent ego-free players for 35mil...

A mate of mine reckons this is what happened:

SG torn between staying at Liverpool and going to Real Madrid.

Real Madrid say that they don't want to get in the way of contract negotiations and will only make a bid if SG puts in a transfer request.

SG puts in a transfer request.

Chelsea put in a £32m bid.

Real Madrid baulk at £32m.

SG then left with a choice - Liverpool or Chelsea?

SG stays with Liverpool.
