Our finishing is woeful period. We miss easy chances week in and week out, sitters absolute sitters [look at Zenden].

"We miss easy chances week in week out" and then you use Zenden as your prime example. WTF wasnt that his first game back ?

We are a big club.

We just lose to small clubs occasionally.

How many times do we have the chances to kill the game off and squander then, once again we paid for it yesterday, Riise isn't a bad player but he isn't the best defender :(

We should have easily beaten Newcastle yesterday with the chances we had

Not just a knee jerk reaction but expect some big squad changes in the summer now the new owners have come in  :;):

Fingers crossed Wigan turn over Arsenal today.

Another sickening result in what is turning into a very disappointing season. Everytime we start to string a few good results together we somehow seem to mess it up. Unless we manage to get past Barca in the CL, this is going to be a season I will want to forget in a hurry. Out of the title race in September, early exits from the cups, horrifying defeats against our rivals, and defeats against teams who we have hammered but missed so many easy chances.

So come on Liverpool lets win the CL and make this into a season we will all remember.

never doubt about it, mate
just still being :censored: off
we should have led at least 3-0 at the 1st half and locked the game up, also puzzling pennant was brought off, he was one who looked dangerous there

We played well and perhaps on any other day would have ran out comfortable winners .

Having said that , we still haven't successfully replaced Michael Owen .

Not knocking the current squad but the lack of TOP TOP quality especially up front is glaringly obvious .

Can you read?

I don't give a :censored: if that was his first game back, he missed a sitter. That was just an example of players other than our strikers missing quality chances.

It was not too surprising we lost because we have lost a few already this season. This is where we are right now, few good results then a couple of bad matches. Third or Fourth best in this league but no more.

Expect more of the same from this campaign and fingers crossed for a higher consistency level next year if we can improve the quality of our first 11.

It was like Blackburn away all over again.

Late me make this simple. Newcastle are a pi$$ poor side. We gifted them two ridiculously soft goals considering how well we've been defending recently.

There's no excuse. We should have had the game buried in the first half an hour. In many ways it was exactly like the Blackburn game and sums up why we're still that little bit short. We're still no way near clinical enough front of goal.

Too rite, we need a tip top finisher! Hopefully two Yanks will help us out on that front.
Yeah we lost to the black and white :censored: and i got a and this is becoming too regular of an occurance away from home not being able to kill the game off but hell....

maybe manure and the chavs will lose 10 games on the bounce and we can snatch the league! :D
