TBH, they can boo gerrard every single game as far as I'm concerned!

Anyway, every single player for England last wednesday DESERVES everything they get ''boo'' wise.

remember, these people are living the life of Riley, and they NEED to remember WHO pays the wages!

Stevie is on now saying he expected it, and it was deserved!

Sorry bud :talktothehand

do not agree with you Mcclaren holds all the blame for me he is about as inspirational as a used toilet roll and had about as much football knowledge as my 3 year old daughter. I thought the players tried to hard in a system that had no chance of working.

Sorry to :censored: on ya fire bud

Once they cross that white line, the manager can do NOTHING!

the players on that pitch were WELL capable of at least drawing that game.

It's not on to make excuses for multi millionaire pampered pooches.

sorry to pee on yours!

This won't end well, I fear! :(

I though it was much better, he said winning, not coaching and training. He said what his problem was, inice and calm

No worries bud but we might have to agree to disagree as this argument is all down to opinion and the one single fact is that we are out of the finals who's fault and why will be forever more one of debate, I hated Mcclaren from the start and to the point that on the night i must have been one of the only few Englishmen on the night wanting us to get beat.

He was an idiot and would have only made us a laughing stock in the finals which would have only prolonged and incresed my view of his footballing knowledge asbeing :censored:

We go into December unbeaten in the league.

Regardless of the disappointing draws along the way, that's an enormous improvement on last year, and with Alonso and Agger still to come back, I think game is well and truly on as far as a title challenge is concerned.

Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce has criticised Rafael Benitez's tenure at Anfield, suggesting the Spaniard would have been "very lucky to be in a job" if he had not reached two Champions League finals.

Allardyce insists Benitez places too much emphasis on European competition instead of launching a sustained bid for the Barclays Premier League title - but believes his success on the Continent could have saved his job.

Liverpool have finished fifth, third and third domestically under Benitez as well as winning the European Cup in 2005 and reaching the final last season.

Allardyce, speaking to Zoo magazine, said: "Rafa would be very lucky to be in a job if he hadn't got to two Champions League finals, because they have had some very, very poor finishes poor finishes in the Premier League.

"While they are a very good Champions League team, they are not a Premier League-winning team yet.

"They don't have that mentality to win that yet.

"Being a foreigner, Rafa doesn't understand it's supposed to be Premier League first and Champions League second."

Up to third now (if only short term), we could do with both Wigan and Bolton doing us a favour now.
