New liverpool kit '06-'08 - Is this for real?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

The shirt is a fake.  It's a mock up from the Denmark international kit

Its a shame that nike and adidas are making all the shirts the same. I think even Reebok are doing it, are Euro shirt looks similar to West Hams.

YOu kind of lose the individuality. :(

If the new kit looks like ANY of those mock-ups, I'm buying it.

too early, adidas hasn't been in their right time to start developing a new design, those designs are taken from a post in RAWK

Well...I have just taken a look from the official adidas catalogue from sporting goods shops (for pre-order kits for 2006/07 Premier League season in advance NOW) and got the confirmed pattern:

The home kit 2006-07 will be very close to the design of the Spanish home shirt, WITHOUT ANY VERTICAL STRIPS. It's only a combination of red and white colour.
Image
Just formulate your imagination here that the vertical strips being removed and only the 3-adidas-strips on shoulders remain, as well as the outlining white strip around the shirt.

The away 2006-07 kit would be a YELLOW SHIRT, NAMES & NUMBERS WOULD BE IN RED COLOUR.

Where have you seen this catalogue? Is it online or is it an actual catalogue you have yourself? I only ask as whenever I go to the adidas website it says that the catalogue isn't out yet and I'll be e-mailed when it's available.

The catalogues are NOT FOR PUBLIC USE, but they are delivered to sporting goods shops ONLY. That means, if you are running a business which sells jerseys, the local adidas quarters will send you the catalogue. This is the same phenonemon for Nike, Reebok etc. The purpose is to facilitate shops to pre-order soccer jerseys ahead before season starts. Shops will only be allocated new shirts of 2006/07 seasons if they make the preorders in January 2006.

This is the case here in Hong Kong.

FFS I hate the yellow kits. But will probably still buy because its your teams shirt and you have to get it really.
