New chant idea

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby SundanceKid » Thu Jun 05, 2008 1:13 am

Not too good at creating chants, but I was listening to one of my favorite bands [They happen to be from Liverpool], and I thought this tune should be made into a chant. Not sure what could be made of it though. I personally think it would be the chant with the best tune since 'Fields of Anfield Road'.

I can try to put a hyphen in between each syllable for you if you need it.

Fuck me, if one of you dickheads pointed out I left out the link I wouldn't have acted like a bigger dickhead. Haha. I apologize for that, really.

Cut me some slack, I'm just wasting my spare time:
Stevie G, what a footballer
After his goal, the Kop sings and hollers
Stevie's a red, red he'll be till he's old
Stevie's a red, and he'll never be sold
Gerrard's unique, a very rare jewel
Steven Gerrard plays for Liverpool
He lives on a pitch that's very much feared
Stevie G lives in Anfield.

Sung to the first verse. Not too bad for my first try I think. Someone else want to make one?
