Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

lol stu  as i said in another post i have faith in him to get us to play a good game in the final as this is his type of football, he has made a lot of mistakes this year and i hope has learnt a lot , he still has a lot to learn about the prem and how we play football over here and the fact there are no easy game to sit back on.

If we buy well this time and keep the team fit i think we will be a good tean next season.
saying that if we win the CL he will become such a big target for Real it might be hard for him to turn them down ...not just down to how he feels about Real but it might be hard for him to  see  passed the wad of cash they will wave in his face.

If he wins the CL, he's half way to greatness in his first season.

I remember you calling for the likes of Allardyce, Curbishley or O'Niel. I hope you were not serious about any of these candidates.

Wenger realised very quickley tactics mean very little in the english league, its mainly motivation. In spain and italy its VERY different.

Benitez isn't a fool.

no he is not a fool but some time i feel he has picked the wrong team.
as for Allardyce i still think he will become one of the top managers and i still have a bet on him being the england manager by 2010 lol.

i dont like what sam has come out and said this year but i do respect what he has done at bolton with such a poor team.

the thing is with RB he set his sites on the CL right from the start and i not think that was a good thing , look what has happend due to that if we dont win the CL the no CL for next time and even if we do win it not for shore.

Lakes he didn't set his sights towards the CL, the players did. The players themselves had admitted that it has been hard to concentrate on the race for fourth place in the Leauge after we knocked out Juventus.

To 99.9 % of our players, getting this far in the CL is the highlight of their careers and it would mean even more if they were to win it. They rather be Champions of Europe than finish fourth in the League, and therefore they sacrificed the fourth place in order to play in the final of the most prestigous competition in Europe.

What you are attempting to do is trying to say that Benitez had his eyes set on the CL in order to go to Real Madrid, when all along he could had gone to Real Madrid with two La Liga titles in three years as his track record. No he signed here for a greater challenge and he's fully comitted to the club.

One of the reasons he left Valencia was because of the "politics" within the club, so why would he join a club such as Real Madrid that is ten times worse as far as club politics are concerned. Club full of egos and thats something that Rafa doesn't like to work with.

AK47's are the best. You can roll around in the sand dunes with Osama and they still don't jam!!!!

Ohhhhh, but Kalashikov has a distillery for his own Vodka.

So for Premiership matches, we will have enebriated Ruski's (it is Vodka, not meant to be racist) on our shirts and for CL matches, we will have AK's!!!!! Freakin' awesome.
Mourinho was customizing his flashy blue racing car -- applying the finishing touches of go-faster stripes, aerodynamic spoilers and a fat f@ck you exhaust -- while on his red car, Benitez was trying to glue together a broken chassis, repair bodywork and replace burst tyres.

I'm thinking a famous dog food brand - Winalot - there's gotta be something in having that on your shirt (the name, that is. Not dog food)  :kungfu:

:D  :D Of course it is the kit that will succeed in the final, but I hope we dismiss the person who ironed it. :eyebrow
