Neill and mascherano - On their way....

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby red37 » Fri Jan 05, 2007 4:39 pm

The lad will be grateful of the fact that he (might) be representing his services at a world-class club at last, as opposed to a bottom three side who have imploded spectacularly since last seen performing as a cohesive unit on 13th May last year...just a thought, but i would expect him to be highly in favour of that considering his personal levels of ambition. And the fact that at some point, his International manager will be anxious to see his progress maintained outside the Latin football world with 'some' degree of regularity.

i have seen ALOT of this guy and i can tell you... he is a GREAT player !

I'm one of the many here who haven't really seen much of the player. Most of the reports i've read indicate that he is a graceful midfielder with excellent passing ability (both long & short.) I don't doubt that he is a very good player but then neither am i willing to write off Alan Pardew & Alan Curbishley (2 managers i respect a great deal) as a couple of blind idiots who have simply overlooked a 'great player' in favour of the likes of Hayden Mullins and an under-performing Reo-Coker. I can only assume he didn't do so well in training and in the games he played for the Hammers.

As for Neil, he will be a good signing if it happens. He knows the English game well and had an excellent World Cup and i would esxpect him to push Riise for that LB spot.

well neill is reckless, careless, hes like a bull in a china shop.

mascherano is decent, world class, but he aint up to premier standards, we must ensure we sign premier standard players.

It's like saying that a bird isn't good in bed even though you've never really f#cked her yourself.

Mascherano has hardly played at all in England.

Alonso was given a chance and he proved himself.

Somebody ban this wind up.

Mascherano started only 3 games for West Ham, and hardly given a chance to settle down in a different league compared to that of the Brasil and Argentina's Apartura.
