Gerrard (now a world beater)

Torres

Babel (although played out of position its an apprenticeship)

Pennant (although not amazing has become a very useful player)

Arbeloa (bought for 1.3 mill... enough said)

Macherano (again now a world beater)

Alonso (bought for 10 mill now worth about 20 mill easily)

He has bought players that have not cut and credit to Rafa he got rid sharpish.

I seen him in the copa del ray ( or something) and he was against Barcelona

and he was nutting like wat he is now !!!

We got him for how much? 10 right?

How much is he worth now. That's about 7 players that Rafa has bumped the value up on. NEXT!

Jack Hobbs, he was bought from Lincoln (league 2) is now at Scunthorpe (championship) he's moved up two divisions, great signing for Benitez

FFS by all means criticise the manager with coherent arguments, but this thread.......can't you think for yourself, or are you at pains to kick Rafa in to such an extent that even obvious positives are ignored.

The replies so far are meaningless - the players quoted are playing worse now than ever and if you can't see that you aren't going to the same matches as me !

There is not ONE player who has improved under Raffa but there is a fair bit of a squad who are totally disallusioned and mystified by the management.

The original question was who Rafa has improved on, both their value and how they play on the pitch. Not his flops. I think John expected none had improved. We've had quiet a few names mentioned already that only a blind man could argue with.
