You will lose faith in Houllier only if we lose to the scums?

Nah, I have already lost faith in Houllier but if we lose to the mancs i think our season is over and as Rimetto said it will be the final nail in the coffin (as if their haven't been enough all season).

He's come out and tried to defend his tactics for the fulham game now.

Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier has defended his choice of starting XI for Saturday's disappointing goalless draw with Fulham.

Bruno Cheyrou and Vladimir Smicer came in for Emile Heskey and El Hadji Diouf at Anfield, but once again the Reds failed to deliver the goods.

Houllier said: "My team selection was based on the theory that if we passed the ball more and kept it on the floor, we would handle better a situation where a team defends deep against us.

"I made substitutions to change things, at 0-0 you must try things, it is what management is all about.

This time of the season is not the right time to try things. We are in need of results so you should stick with what you know surely. Just more proof that GH has lost the plot. Please GH do the honourable thing and leave the club. You say you are a fan then do the right thing. Leave before the fans stop backing the team and start protesting.

"still a top six side" - set your sights a little higher or support Charlatan, this is Liverpool FC ffs
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

The only thing Foolier has done for us in the past two seasons is to turn our club into a mid table team. When we are no longer sure of getting a result against the likes of wolves, portsmouth, fulham, charlton , etc etc then it is time for all supporters to think twice before they voice any support for the man who given more time will lead us into the 1st division.
Don't laugh, I'm serious about this. Even the Manc scum we're relegated and so were Nottingham Forest once worthy winners of the European cup. It happend to them it could easily happen to us.
Obviously I don't want this to happen but with Foolier in charge it's not impossible.

A lot of top teams have been relegated lately. Fiorentina, Atletico Madrid, Naples, Cologne...

We should not feel secure.

The difference with those foreign clubs is that they all had serious problems off the park as well.

There were times this season where I genuinely felt that if it hadn't been for Steven Gerrard we would be in 13th or 14th place, with about 5 points between us and safety.

Stevis has been a True hero this season for us. When owen has been giving his threats to leave if we don't reach the chapions league he just got on with his job and shown how much he loves the club.

To be honest i hope owen stay but i think that he has to take some of the blame for us not doing so well. since his statement about needing champions league he's played terrible. He has cost us many games by missing pens or chances from 6 yards. Maybe he should have just shut - up and got on with it.

i think team selection and tatics have been shocking this season. To many players are simply not good enough heskey, biscan, diao, diouf, cheyrou, hamann,.Ask yourself the question out of are starting eleven against charlton how many would get in the aresenal, manchester utd, chelsea side probally owen and gerrard. Also like to add i think GH has to go in the summer for liverpool football clubs sake not forgetting what he has done for the club.We need a new manager hopefully oneill to add fire to the bellys of the players and take the games to the oppostion like celtic do

I totally agree with you gormley GH has been shocking. I still for the life of me understand why he played Biscan for so long in the defence when every body even my kid could see that he was a liability. ( by the way i have no kids yet so that's how bad it was. )

He is a great man and has shown his passion for our club by coming back from the heart op but it's TIME GH PLEASE ding ding. Do you the honourable thing GH and step away from the job and let liverpool go forward from here. THANK YOU

I think you are right mate without stevie this year we would of been screwed well and truely,Hamam is a good defensive midfielder but offers little going forward, diao what a waste of money offers nothing, murphy has really dipped in form, cheyrou played for one month and thats all we ahve seen of him in 2 yrs fancy GH comparing him to Z Zidane that is salnder.thank god SG has dragged us trough this cr#p season

If Gerard get to manage for another season, he will be my hero because of his ability to sucker the board into believing that he can win us the League and make us European Champion once again. All with this "team" of his. Empty talk, white lies...what a comedian! My hero ... really
Ar5e, Chelski, Manure watch out!

do you agree we need a new centre half with a bit of pace then.evrybody knows we lack pace at the back and teams take advantage of that.

Also he's going to make all the right noises about being here next season, quite simply because if he makes any kind of negative comments he will lose the board for absolute certain.

could imagine aresenal playing one up it would not happen.home games we should going for the kill with kewell behind baros and owen ,not with cheyrou behind owen teams must be really frightend when they see that on the team sheet.

I totally agree about the centre half. I hope he gets Mexes what i've seen of him has been good. Looks good on the ball and likes to come out of defence with it at his feet not play it sideways/backwards. But we could have solved this issue in Jan if GH had bought Boumsong. He wanted to come to us then but GH messed him about.
