seems i opened a can of worms, i dont care if he reads it or not, maybe he will.

the fact is i do think he is the right man for the job, i just think his tactics are wrong for us at the moment, this theory is borne out by our league position and our results this season.

they are fact and can not be changed but even stevie wonder would be able to see that the tactic are not right

yes he won a trophy, not just any trophy but a major trophy. however that was last season.

my letter is borne out of frustration at having to watch negative tactics every week when it is obvious that it is not working, thats the point I am making, Houllier was also stubborn when his tactics did not work, its as though tey just want to prove themselves to be right.

in my opinion these tactics have already put us out of the title race this season. ive said this so many times last season chelsea lost one game, the season before arsenal went the season unbeaten. you can not afford the luxury and more of losing a few games of drawing a lot of games.

I am sure eventually Rafa will get it right but at the moment he is prepared to stick with something that does not work, and even stevie wonder would be able to see that so why cant you?

I assume you also think I am being disloyal, I will tell you so I am far from disloyal, i want it to be better and i dont look through those famous rose tinted glasses anymore like i did when i was a kid also.

Did you seriously believe we would ever be in it ?

If you did then Istanbul has raised your expectations too high mate.

Now there is nothing wrong with having high expectations, we all suffer from getting carried away with things at times.

But its when things go a bit wrong or results aren't like Chelsea's that because of the OTT expectations the manager is criticised.

I agree that the tactics are wrong at the moment, but i also said the zonal marking was last season, Rafa persisted and it worked.

The point i am making is that although we think its obvious that a change is needed...who's to say he is being stubborn with his tactics ?
Sometimes players take a while to adapt to different formations and tactics.
And imo the results so far this season could of been better but they are far from catstrophic...and we have picked up more points than in the same fixtures last season.
