My indictment of the rafa benitez regime

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby dawson99 » Sun Feb 17, 2008 2:43 pm

just want a manager who the players will play for. and rafa cant get the players to play...

personally id like riijkaard, i know everyone would disagree but that would be my no.1, then scolari, then maureen.

wouldnt mind having mccallister as well (shows how bad it is that id ratehr have a leeds manager than what we got)

Jamie Carragher player/manager. Sami Hyypia assisant. Didi Hamman cheif scout. Kenny Dalglish director of football (whatever that is) Tommy Smith, John Aldridge and Steve McMahon on the board. Sammy Lee fitness coach. Ray Clemance football coach. Steve Heighway youth team coach. Alan Hansen reserve coach.

Finally me as chairman...................ok so I have to one unrealistic hope don't I. :D
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Nah not :censored:, :censored: off yes, but not :censored: because of ale. Only time we've done the double we had a player/manager in charge, give the job to Carra RIGHT NOW

Liverpool manager ‘I’m no flop’

February 17, 2008

The People report that Rafael Benitez is well and truly fighting his corner, following criticism that he’s fast becoming a failure at Anfield. The Liverpool manager presided over arguably his most humiliating day in charge of the club on Saturday, when the Reds were beaten 2-1 at home to Barnsley.

“If you analyse the last few years since I came to the club we have won four trophies and been in seven finals, including two in the Champions League.

“How many other managers have done the same in their first three or four years at a club? People can talk about being successful but nobody is winning trophies every year.

“To do that is really difficult so I think we are in a really good position with a very young squad, so I have a lot of confidence in the team for the future.”

The question remains whether Rafa will have the opportunity to turn things around at Anfield in the future. He’s enduring his toughest season as manager of Liverpool and won’t be able to reflect on former glories forever.

Four trophies, seven finals. European Cup, FA Cup fair enough, but the Charity Shield and Super Cup aren't exactly the trophies to be proud of. Still chuffed we won the them, but they're not trophies to be proud of really. The other finals, Carling Cup and European Cup final are good trophies to be in the final of, but being proud of reaching the final of the World Club Championships, is disgraceful. We should of walked that tournament, but we didn't because nobody gives a toss about that, or about the Charity Shield or about the Super Cup with all due respect. They're trophies you aren't fussed if you win or lose. So if he's taking the credit for them trophies, will he admit he's to blame for Burnley, Benfica and Barnsley?

I was lucky enough to pay £24 on the kop for that excuse for a football match. RB knows nothing of English of football, he does not no our values. That team yesterday was a disgrace. Around the kop fewer and fewer people are singing RB songs. All I heard yesterday was everyone around me slateing the players the manager everyone really. We had crusty the clown in goal who could not catch a cold. Dumb and dumber up front. All this enjoyment then Kewell came on. Good god what a leach-get rid he's a waste of space and everyone around me thought the same. Barnsley even at one point started singing you'll never walk alone - the kop was silent. Why because we were :censored:. hats off to them. We had millions of pounds worth of tallent not even on the bench. RB is arrogant no respect for oppents and the sooner he is gone the better. Only people i no who still back him are people on here playing championship manager like RB is doing himself. RB supporters go to a game pay the money here the fans and then give us one good reason why he should not be sacked.
i dont care if this is a repeat post delete it if you like MODS. Post here to get rid of RB (o and zarababe before you start id sooner have big sam then RB)

Top Top post Dav , was waiting for some1 to actually start a thread like this . A manager like rafa will never know the traditions of the fa cups , he disrespects teams like u said  , Bill shankly never ever disrespected the FA cup to such a extent , he played his strongest unlike RB and won , rafa is clueless abt his job and since pako left it has become worse . NO MORE EXCUSES FOR RB , enough is enough , i'm sick of all the people coming up with excuses abt him , it's time to see that RB is the problem at LFC

Not sure this deserves a thread of it's own Dav, despite the £24 you spent.Moving this to "my indictment of the Rafa regime"
