What about this analogy .

Liverpool fans "Rafa we need to win the league this year mate ,, the mancs are to close now and it's been 19 years ffs . We want you to put all your efforts into winning the league "

Rafa " Ok lads no worries we're going for it this year , but your going to have to trust me i'm afraid "

Liverpool fans " ok rafa lash , but if you feck up your out mate ok "

Rafa " ok , no problem "

lEnd of the season comes

Rafa " There you go lads , all sorted ,, the prem is won "

Liverpool fans " Yeh thanks for that rafa lad , now feck off , we're not happy with the way you won it . It's been emotional mate Bye "

It's just a quote from his dad, who says he wants him to play for Atletico, like he himself did.

I would have no problem with Rafa staying if we win it (or come close) my worry is your other post(from Rawk) that he may fuk up and already have a new contract.

At the end of the day Igor its not up to you and me to decide mate, we can only give an opinion that matters not one jot in truth. My opinion is its silly to make such a decision when the race is not over.

The truth is if I was happy with what he had done in previous seasons, I wouldn't be seeing this season as such a make or break season. Its the fact that I think we could have done much better in previous seasons that makes this a defining season in my opinion.

Liverpool stopper is 'crazy' for Atletico switch

Author: Andrew Allen
Posted on: 13 February 2009 - 15:31

Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina is ‘crazy’ about playing for Atletico Madrid and could join the club in the near future – if his dad gets his own way. Miguel Reina, Pepe's father, spent seven years at the Madrid outfit between 1973-1980 and is sure that his son would jump at the opportunity to follow in his footsteps.

Speaking to Radio Marca, Reina senior claimed:

"My son has seen the red and white colours since he was small and he would love to play for Atletico. This weekend I am going to see him and I will talk to him about it.

"Pepe is crazy about playing for Atletico and I will try to convince him so that he does it as soon as possible."

With Liverpool flying high in the Premier League and without any suitable replacements it would appear that any move in the summer is unlikely. Leo Franco and Gregory Coupet are the two current keepers at the Vicente Calderon but both have been criticised for their error-strewn performances.

Do you know what its getting :censored: worse on here im gonna have a moan now , which is rare for me to do  :;): but every thread that is started latley is in someway having a dig at Rafaor the team, Now im not saying dont have a moan but its getting ridiculas, Every thread you go into is about changing the manager , or is the team good enough, an stats of loads which baffle me im afraid, but its really getting depressing,

Mick im not having a go or Owzat with the stats you put up fair play to you for taking the time to dig them all out, but for god sake youve gotta have some belief even if its only a smidgen or whats the point of supporting the team. Now if we were in Man Citys position then maybe i would accept all the negative views , But it is actualy overtaking the board its become obsessive with some. Im not being funny here like but i thank god all this negativity isnt prtrayed by fans at the games or we would have no chance, Some times i actualy wonder if this is a Liverpool forum theres so much negativity,

Anyway ive had me moan but im still made up this avvi as ive just won 1200 in the bingo.
