it looks like he will be leaving we should have signed him anyway 5mill was nothing chelsea got a bargain there.

Mutu eyeing Chelsea exit after "conflict" with boss

Chelsea striker Adrian Mutu claims is he is "open conflict" with boss Jose Mourinho and believes he may now have to "find another team".

Mutu has hardly figured in Mourinho's first-team plans this season, with Didier Drogba, Eidur Gudjohnsen and Mateja Kezman ahead of him in the pecking order.

Now Mutu has accused Mourinho of lying about his fitness in a bid to prevent him playing in a World Cup qualifier.

Mourinho claims Mutu is injured and cannot play for Romania on Saturday - but the 25-year-old forward insists he is fit and has flown out to face the Czech Republic.

"I am in an open conflict with Mourinho, who forbade me to go to my national team and said I was injured. It is not true - I have been in good condition for five days and he knew that,'' Mutu told The Sun.

Mutu may face a fine when he returns to Stamford Bridge, and believes he may now have to find another club.

"I don't care about being fined. I want everyone to know that the national team is the most important thing for me,'' he added.

A knee injury was blamed for Mutu's absence from Chelsea's squad in their 1-0 Premiership win over Liverpool on Sunday.

But Mutu said: "I told Mourinho I was fit. He disagreed and showed me a piece of paper from the medical staff claiming I wasn't. But I know I am fit.

"Mourinho has promised me that I would play in the first team for some games. Then I wasn't even in the squad and I don't understand why.

"Probably the only solution, even if I don't want it, is to find another team.''

He made a good start early last season and then faded. I don't know if he will accept a pay cut. He has shown some good skills at set pieces and is quite tennacious. It seems that our strikers lack this quality and can't seem to terrorise or cause problems to the opposing defenders. They can't all be that bad, I don't believe that as they have scored goals elsewhere, just maybe they are a tad light weight for the Premiership or Liverpool has not fully utilised (or not found the way to) them in the most effective way.

I had never heard of Mutu before he signed for Chelsea, and if he leaves I bet we never hear about him again.

I would take Mutu he was a genius for Parma and then failed to show at Chelsea. Maybe he could bring those goals at Anfield, hes got the ablity.

Mutu is like a Kewell at moment
