“Its going to be strange going back , Liverpool supporters are the most passionate supporters in the world and when they get be hide you you feel that you are unbeatable, so not having the Kop be hide me at this game is going to be strange”

Q.What if you score a goal

“Well it would be good for me and my club but I hope I don’t forget that I don’t play for Liverpool any more and run up to the Kop.”

The guy has quite a big ego from what I've heard and when he's told he's no longer part of the clubs plans then he's gonna strike back.

Again he's a talented player and has represented his country and while he could be frustrating with his passing sometimes, he has scored some memorable goals.

He says he continues to support LFC so hes one of us aint he

Good player, but murphy is not the type of player a championship team will have. I read somewhere that arsene wenger looks for 3 qualities in a player.

1)Pace
2)Power
3)Technically sound.

I don't think murphy even has 1 of those qualities..... Good that we sold him.

Then following on not all England players have that quality? don't forget he played Internationally and I think yer being a bit hard on someone who scored some cracking goals.

pretty sure he was a reds fan as a boy, and served us well most of the time while he was here, hope he gets a good reception today.

The Rock, even in the present Liverpool squad, there are very few who has enough of all the 3 qualities. We are still a long way off Arsenal...
