Was anybody [I'm refering to the older posters here] at Anfield when Molby scored ''that'' goal against Manure that was never televised?

I remember the McDermott one against Spurs Peewee mentioned, and Saints donation of Terry Mac against Everton
(It used to start Motd for years)
I remember a few Molby rockets, Barnes against QPR,Tommy Smith against BMG and of course the goals from recent times but for me .....

Stevie Gerrards rocket in the West Ham cup final  :bowdown

yes mate i was on the kop and i have seen footage also of that goal many years ao, the club used to film games for training purposes.

i remember he crunched whiteside near the halfway line, ambled forward and hit a shot that bailey said would have ripped his hand of if he had gotten anywhere near it

One goal that really sticks out for me as pure class from a pure genius was John Barnes against QPR (88/89 i think).

He scored two that day, both great goals.  The one where he went left and then showed great balnce to go right, before passing the ball into the top corner past Seaman.

This goal summed up Barnes perfectly for me.  Skill, pace, power, balance, two good feet and a composed finish.  Made it look so easy.  My hero!

I was on the Kop that night. The only televised versions were the clubs home video and a video recording made for Ron Atkinson.Jan has a copy himself, that he asked Ron Atkinson for, because he rates it the best goal he ever scored.
